• Radiation Detection and Measurement: detector fabrication and characterization, detection method development, signal processing, detection system modeling, and radiation detector application (scientific, industrial, medical).

• Nanocrystalline Semiconductor Device Development: photodetectors, nuclear radiation detectors, solar cells.

• Monte Carlo Simulation on Nuclear Facility and Radiation Devices: radiation shielding and dose calculation.

• Nonproliferation and National Security Research: special nuclear material and high explosives detection.
